Addie is 18 months old this weekend. She has finally started to take some interest in her baby. Tonight, she laid "Baby Stella" on the floor on her tummy and laid a baby wipe over her (blanket) and patted her back forever. Then she would pick her up and kiss her and put her back down and continue to pat her and now is singing winkle winkle ittle star to her. One day when I picked her up from day care she was looking into the window of the baby room and playing pickaboo with one of the babies through the window and all the way home she was talking about babies, babies, babies.
She LOVES to work her puzzles and read books. She also loves her farm. Today we went for a walk, to the park, did some shopping, and went swimming. She likes the pool as long as she has a death grip on me. She spent the week with Charlie as I was traveling for work and they had a great week. We have been holding hands and praying at dinner and she is really into it and tries to close her eyes but you can tell that she is afraid she might miss something.
Adelyn is starting to test her boundaries a bit so we are breaking out the parenting books - ha! She seems to think that time out is funny. You might want to pray for us through the toddler years. She always melts our hearts in the end. This weekend we are celebrating 8 years together, thanks to some dear friends Troy and Megan. We still have our "vacation" home in Lawrence for sale and are praying that a new famlyl finds it soon. Thats all for now..............
