The fall has proven to be busy for us. We went to Durango for Rob and Clare's beautiful wedding. Last weekend we went to Stillwater and stayed with Charlie's Grandma Peggy. Adelyn stayed with Charlie's Aunt Donita while we went to the game and we even had a short visit from my sister Kim and her kids - Layne and Lauren. I think Adelyn enjoyed her time will all of the various family members.
Recently, they had picture day at daycare and Adelyn was a huge cheeser! She is still very social and loves people. We had a playdate with our friends that have babies around Adelyn's age. We had a baby race - you can see the video below.
She took 2 steps on several different occasions today. She has been cruising around the furniture for a while but she finely found that confidence today. I predict she will be running by the end of the week. She has started putting her hands over her eyes and playing peek a boo. Tonight, she was sitting in the floor playing with a piece of ribbon and was acting like she was trying to put it in her hair. Earlier this week, I was sitting in the floor and she would fluff my hair and then get right in my face like she was saying "what do you think mom?". She did this repeatedly.
I have been working on her birthday preparations. Its hard to believe it has already been a year. We are looking forward to the event - and packing away the bottles and transitioning to milk and cheaper daycare :)
